Samantha Goldberg
Flute & Xylophone


A wandering Jewsician passionate about spreading Yiddish music worldwide. As a multi-instrumentalist, she plays flute in the ensemble to honor early klezmer, evoking haunting pipe sounds and nature's hopefulness. Samantha creates multimedia presentations on Jewish culture, leads educational programs, and directs community klezmer bands, including work with the Lanier Middle School band and the Austin Klezmer Bund.




Dylan M. Blackthorn
Accordion, Vocals & Foley
Singer/songwriter and accordion-based composer with a deep interest in traditional Yiddish music and culture, which he has studied since 2005 while traveling the world with Samantha Goldberg. He also plays with the Goblinfolk ensemble THAT Damned Band, 999 EYES Freakshow & Surreal Sideshow, Gary Lindsey & the Pleasure Tide, and occasionally performs as a goblin in thee Hobo Gobbelins.
“The Prof." is a highly sought-after musician in the Austin music scene, contributing to bands and projects such as Wino Vino, Huerte Culture, and the Middle Eastern Music Ensemble of Austin, Texas. He teaches the "Psychology of Music" class at UT Austin and conducts significant research in the university's Psychology Department.
